My Glacier Village is a 501(c)3 organization, led by a working board of directors and managed by an Administrator/Volunteer Coordinator.  Built for seniors, BY seniors, we rely heavily on our members and volunteers.  In addition to our working board we have committed volunteer team leaders, who have created and manage our Core Functions.

Kathy Cozad, Board President

Kathy Cozad, and her husband, Karl, moved to Whitefish in June of 2008. The prior 3 years were
spent in Pullman, WA and before that they resided in The Dalles, OR. They love the scenic and
natural beauty of the area, as well as the warm and friendliness of the people in the
Community.

Kathy spent 9 years employed by the Whitefish Community Center. She was their site manager
until she retired in 2021.

Her fondness for working with the elder population continues to grow as she volunteers and
serves as a board member for My Glacier Village. Her current duties at my Glacier Village
include volunteering for member requests, awareness team member, Whitefish Ambassador,
and member of the Board of Directors. Kathy has always wanted to be an advocate for the
senior community and now she has multiple ways to fulfill that desire.

Kim Bar, Treasurer

Kim grew up in Billings, Montana. After graduating from MSU (Bozeman) with an accounting degree, she worked in private industry until 1995 when she started her own accounting business. With her long-time connections in the Billings community, she contracted to provide services for a large non-profit after losing their accountant. That was her start into the non-profit world which led her to many contracs with local organizations.

Kim and her husband, Dennis, moved to Kalispell in September, 2020 to be close to their daughter and her family. All but one client "came with" Kim as she relocated. As she is phasing out of the working world and into retirement, she had the pleasure of referring some of her clients to her daughter. Some of her semi-retirement time is spent with their granddaughter and cuddling their new grandson. When she retires completely in April, 2024, Kim and her husband plan to travel more. With three more grandsons in the Seattle area, there will be time for her to spend with their other daughter and her family.

Dennis started volunteering with My glacier Village in 2022. Kim started volunteering with MGV in late 2023 as a Board member. Now she oversees all the accounting for our organization and will start volunterring with the MGV members in the summer.

Whitney Warren, Governance

Whitney Warren is an Operations Officer, VP at Glacier Bank. Whitney has worked at Glacier Bank since 2007, developing and maintaining customer relationships and more recently helping customers navigate through fraud, identity theft and elevated situations. She graduated from FVCC with an Associate of Science and Associate of Art Degree and went on to Montana State University of Billings to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Whitney is a 6th generation Montanan and was born and raised in Bigfork, Montana and resides there today with her husband, daughter and two dogs. Her inspiration comes from her daughter, she strives to be her best self and create a place her family can thrive. You can often find her and her family up on the mountain in the winter and out on the lake in the summer, enjoying the outdoors in every season.

Whitney is honored to be a part of the MGV board! She looks forward to getting to know the members, volunteers, and supporters. She is excited to learn about and become a part of this great organization by using her strengths in banking, operations, fraud prevention, technology, and project management to help support and execute the mission to connect, inspire and support seniors.

Jenn Kincaid, Board Member

Jenn grew up in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead High school.  Jenn received her Holistic Health Practitioner degree in Asian Studies of Acupressure in San Diego and has been a licensed massage therapist for over 20 years.  And has been a licensed agent in the Health Insurance Industry since 2011.  She currently works full time for Humana and sincerely enjoys helping people find the best health insurance that fits their needs.

She currently lives south of Columbia Falls with her husband, Brad and daughter, Hallie.  They have two dogs, and treasure family time together.  They enjoy camping and snow skiing in the winter, especially on those sunny days!  And they’re also very active in the car racing community, traveling to Salt Lake Utah once a month to participate in road course racing events with their very custom BMW M3.

Jenn has been involved with My Glacier Village since 2020 and joined the Board in 2021.  She loves the whole core of the village where people help each other.  She enjoys seeing seniors being active and trying new things with others who are like minded.

Bev Moon, Board Member

I spent the majority of my career in Kalispell's hospital administration. Now that I'm retired, my passion is birdwatching, spending winters in Patagonia, AZ, and volunteering

What I love about My Glacier Village is assisting other seniors wherever I can. I've made many new friends and  some of those have developed into close relationships that allow me more opportunities for socializing, which is very important to me. I searched for 9 years to find just the right organization in which to volunteer, and MGV fits the bill! I hope to have many more years ahead to help others and keep making new friends!

I was born in New York City and lived there for the first 45 years of my life.  My passion was always horses, and I taught riding and jumping, and showed jumping horses for years.  After a few nasty accidents and back surgery, I started work as legal secretary for an 800 attorney law firm in Manhattan.  I progressed to becoming the Secretarial Coordinator supervising  more than 100 secretaries.  After that, I became a paralegal at the same law office, and worked in major litigation.  It was very interesting work, but the love of horses remained with me.  In 1989 my husband and I pointed our car west and wound up in Whitefish.  Three years later, we made the big move to Whitefish.  I immediately bought 3 horses (and added a 4th a little later) and was happy again.  I worked for many different local attorneys for the next 15 years on a temporary basis.  This allowed me the time to spend in the outdoors with my horses and nature.  Unfortunately, my riding days are over, and I was looking for another passion.  I found MGV after I had broken my leg.  I became a member, a volunteer, and was invited to join the Board a few years later.  It's a wonderful organization, and I look forward to a bright future.
